You must be a member of the group to submit. Only new images submitted to DA from today.
Starting from today and closing at midnight (Australian time) on the 21/12/16.
Submit your best images that fit with the theme -
   'THE COLOURS OF CHRISTMAS'.
All entries must follow the usual group rules e.g. there must be a visible bloom.
There are 3 categories - Photos, Digital Art & Traditional Art/Artisan Crafts
You can submit a total of 3 pieces - please put them in the correct folder when you submit.
The work must be your own and if you use stock the artists must be acknowledged.
We will choose 3 winners in each category so 9 winners all up!! (As long as we get enough entries )
All entries must have in the comments the wording -

Hey guys. Just a small update when it comes to the contest
The submission date is over. I will be adding every single work to the contest folder within the next few days. But DeviantArt is buggy, and I might have missed a few notifications.  
If you entered, please check if your work is in the contest folder. If it somehow isn't, shoot me a message so I can add it.
To be honest... I have over 200 entries and I had never expected so many.
Judging will therefore be a lot harder than I originally imagined, moreover because a lot of people added great descriptions to their submissions and it's going to take me some time to read them all.
Therefore the judging will take a bit longer than I originally envisioned.
Expect the contest results to be up by the end of January.

This December we are encouraging you to feature your fellow deviants with a journal of artworks that you would feature as a Daily Deviation (commonly called "DD") if you could. So let's embrace the Holiday Season and spread some good cheer by joining in and featuring our community!

How Does it Work?
Create and publish a journal feature of images that you would choose for a Daily Deviation Feature from your preferred gallery. GetWatchers is hosting a theme'd contest where we want to see your Winter inspired art! The rules and guidelines are simple:
*Your art must be new - submitted after the 5th of December (This includes deviations submited on the day of Dec 5th).

The first part of the contest is done. Part two goes like this:
Here comes the second leg of the contest. After an image has been chosen, it’s time for the writers to join the fun. You may write Poetry, Prose, or any other type of literature you prefer, to describe the winning image. From turkey dinner to chocolate covered cockroaches and anything in between, you will be required to describe the winning image in such a way to make readers’ mouths water and desire to eat that food. When your submission deadline is reached, the community will vote on your piece.
